Construction work has now started on a new development in Goffs Oak, which will bring 66 new homes to the area. The Cedarbrook Rise scheme, which is being built by Bellway on land off Burton Lane, was given the go-ahead by councillors earlier this year.
The project will provide a variety of homes from Bellway’s Artisan Collection, including two, three and four-bedroom houses for private sale alongside one-bedroom apartments and two and three-bedroom houses provided as affordable housing for local people.
The first of the houses are due to be released for sale at an off-site launch event in the spring, with a sales centre and showhome set to open on site later in the summer.
“Cedarbrook Rise is going to be a truly desirable place to live, offering a range of homes to meet the needs of buyers in the area, as well as affordable properties for local people. We have carefully designed the properties at the development to complement the surrounding area, as well as providing public open space for play, recreation and wildlife,” said Greg Allsop, Sales and Marketing Director for Bellway North London.
“Residents here will be within walking distance of Goffs Oak village centre, while it’s just two miles to Cuffley railway station for commuters. We are looking forward to releasing the initial selection of homes for sale early next year, and then welcoming visitors to the site later in the year, before our first residents move into their new homes by the end of 2022.”
The homes for sale at Cedarbrook Rise will be in a range of styles from Bellway’s flagship Artisan Collection. These high-quality homes are all named after artisan professions and have been developed from decades of customer feedback, bringing together traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail with the latest building techniques.
