Cardo has completed refurbishment works transforming two flats into five welcoming homes for those who need temporary accommodation in Lichfield. The development is part of Lichfield District Council and Cardo’s ongoing commitment to addressing the urgent need for more homes for those most in need of them.
As part of its commitment to social value and giving back to the local community, Cardo donated Aldi vouchers to the new tenants to help them get settled in and start to prepare for Christmas in their new homes.
Additionally, a decorated Christmas tree was gifted to Lichfield District Council for the garden outside their offices, bringing festive cheer to the community.
Leigh Bullock, Manager Director of Cardo (Central), said:
“Our team has worked tirelessly to make sure that this project not only meets local housing needs but creates a space where people can thrive. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that these homes will provide a safe and welcoming space for those who need it most, especially around Christmas time.
“Cardo aims to leave a positive, lasting impact that extends beyond the building process. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support local causes and strengthen our ties with the people who make our community so special.”
