Architectural Plants will feature this spring a four month exhibition in collaboration with The Garden Gallery, showcasing contemporary sculptures in bronze, ceramic, glass, steel, and stone created by some of the gallery’s regular artists. The event will be launched on the evening of the 15th of March 2018, and it will be with invitation only.
“Architectural Plants is a highly regarded centre of excellence, supplying rare and exquisite plants from an impressive site. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to exhibit contemporary sculpture from The Garden Gallery at the nursery this spring and summer,” said Rachel Bebb, the founder of The Garden Gallery.
Those invited will enjoy a VIP viewing alongside a wine-tasting by the world renowned South Downs vineyard, Wiston Estate. A few of the sculptors will also be present there to give demonstrations and talk about their work. For the rest of the public, the exhibition will run until the 14th of July and visitors can admire the contemporary sculptures together with the variety of plants.

Established in 1990 by Angus White, Architectural Plants is a nursery in Pulborough, West Sussex set within 32 acres of open fields and surrounded by farmland overlooking the South Downs. It specialises in plants, including Japanese and European topiary, hardy palms, bananas, bamboos, plants for screening, and a range of rare evergreen trees. Architectural Plants is known as the home of the interesting, unusual, quirky, and bizarre. They design people’s gardens using their own plants, making it look a lot like their own nursery, while also providing planting and maintenance services.
