Property Graduate 2021 is currently being filmed for SKY 191 and is set to air in the coming months as promising property developers battle it out against one another.
The hunt is on for Britain’s next top property developer as a brand new show is set to give one lucky winner the chance of a lifetime.
Property Graduate 2021 has been well underway since filming started taking place on 14th June. The successful entrants are being whittled down from a catalogue of applications of aspiring property developers looking to add to their portfolio or get their foot on the property ladder.
The premise will see an initial twenty budding property developers battle it out to impress three expert judges deciding the winner on their overall property developing potential.
Over each successive round of filming, the numbers will reduce from twenty to ten and eventually three finalists who will then be asked to return with an investable deal to be in with a chance of being crowned the inaugural Property Graduate champion.
The winner will then have the opportunity to form a property company with show creator, judge and property expert John Howard. They will receive 50% of the shares and twelve months to source a potential development opportunity to invest. £1 million will be made available for the purchase of the site, with a further million to help fund the development.
John said: “It’s been a thrilling start to the competition so far, and we’re amazed by the talent on display. It’ll be tough to cut down the numbers. But as time progresses and we become more familiar with our participants, we will for sure find the worthy winner of the Property Graduate!”
As one of the UK’s most experienced property developers with nearly four decades in the industry under his belt, John has built up an impressive portfolio of almost 4,000 combined houses, apartments and developments worth millions of pounds.
His expertise led him to start the JH Joint Venture Fund – a catalyst for creating Property Graduate 2021 due to its similar principles and premise.
Alongside John will be fellow judges Fiona Talbot and Helen Chorley, who will be offering their informed perspectives following successful ongoing careers in the industry.
Fiona said: “Property Graduate is a brilliant concept which we’re finding works well for both us, the contestants and potentially all the viewers watching at home! When John came to me asking for help, I just couldn’t say no. Being part of a project with so much promise is great fun. But it’s also a perfect excuse for me to flex my muscles when it comes to my expertise in property!”
Helen said: “Since I’ve worked alongside John before for Property Elevator, I just knew this new show was going to be as amazing. There’s so much to like about it – the drama of the judging and whittling down process, the entertaining challenges on display and the birth of that next up and coming property developer.”
