The A’ Design Awards & Competition, one of the world’s largest international design awards, has announced the winners of the 2017 – 2018 competition. All entries were carefully evaluated by an international panel of experts, including scholars, members of the press and design professionals, and at the end of it over 1,900 winners were announced, coming from 100 countries and 99 different disciplines.
The A’ Design Awards & Competition showcases projects, products and services that demonstrate superior design, technology and creativity. There are five different levels of distinction within the competition: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Iron.
The A’ Design Awards are given for Good Spatial Design (Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design and Landscape Design), Good Industrial Design (Product Design, Appliance Design, Vehicle Design and Machinery Design), Good Communication Design (Graphics Design, Interaction Design and Marketing Design), Good Fashion Design (Garment Design, Fashion Accessory Design and Footwear Design), Good System Design (Service Design, Design Strategy, Quality & Innovation) as well as for Achievements in Arts & Literature.
Winners are invited to attend the glamorous gala night and award ceremony in Italy, where they are called on stage to collect their trophies and award certificates. In addition, winners are also provided with space in the ‘Best Designs of the Year’ exhibition and are entitled to receive the ‘A’ Design Prize’. The Prize includes PR and marketing services, such as translation of the award-winning work into several languages and a lifetime license to use an ‘award winner’ logo, which will help the winner create a campaign to communicate their awarded work.
Those wishing to see the winners’ creations and find some inspiration, can visit the A’ Design Awards’ online gallery, featuring all top designs from this year, as well as previously awarded designs.
