Irwin Mitchell has announced their new National Head of Real Estate. Adrian Barlow has been selected for the position at the law firm. The Pinsent Masons’ partner has been appointed to this role at Irwin Mitchell, where it is planned that he will lead his own team of more than 30 commercial real estate partners and more than 40 other commercial real estate lawyers.
The Irwin Mitchell role will be based in London where Adrian Barlow will be responsible for his team. Although Adrian’s role is based in London, these team members will be spread across eight different offices in the UK.
Adrian has a great deal of experience within the real estate industry and hopefully this experience will allow him to be successful in his new role. His experience includes being the leader of Pinsent masons’ Property group over the period between 2004 to 2016. Adrian’s client focus experience means that he has worked advising both public and private sector organisations with challenges such as project strategy and real estate portfolio. In his previous roles, Adrian has also advised companies about business change management from a legal perspective. The companies that Adrian has worked with by offering advice regarding real estate includes a number of different household names including businesses that are in the FTSE 100 and foreign companies.
Throughout his 30-year career at Pinsent Masons, Adrian was also the senior sponsor of the Diversity & Inclusion agenda. Adrian is also a trustee of the Ouseley Trust which requires that he sits on the charity’s main board and finance committee.
Adrian is said to be an excellent leader and has shown consistently over the course of his career that he has an interest in people which will give him the credentials to succeed in his new role. Hopefully the new appointment will also allow Irwin Mitchell to strengthen their real estate market reputation even further.
