Keepmoat Homes has awarded two contracts for flagship developments to M. Lambe Construction. The civil engineering and groundworks company have been working for more than thirty years in this industry to provide the best possible solutions for their clients. The construction company has worked on large projects with a number of big names such as Galliford Try, Kier Group, Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey, Colmore Tang, Bellway Homes and Lovell Partnerships. The team at M. Lambe ha managed to develop an extensive work portfolio that covers site clearance, bulk excavation, foundations, deep drainage, enabling works, road construction, paving works, road surfacing and service installation.
Lambe Construction has worked with Keepmoat in the past and the awarding of these contracts is a testament to the company’s hard work. Michael Lambe, the Director of M. Lambe Construction has expressed his delight at the awarding of these two contracts.These two new developments will allow the company to demonstrate their skills for highways developments, infrastructure and groundworks on multi-million pound projects. The work required for both of the contracts that have been awarded will need to merge seamlessly into the existing highways and infrastructure in the area.
The first project that has been awarded to the team at M. Lambe is a £12.9 million project in Spirit Quarters. This project is part of a larger £360 million redevelopment is taking place in North East Coventry. The development will create more than 3,300 homes, for which M. Lambe Construction will be constructing the foundations for 356 new homes, two new apartment blocks, roads, sewers and other infrastructure.
The second Contract is to work on a £5.07 million project at The Willows, which is in Dudley. On this slightly smaller flagship development, M. Lambe will have a specialist team creating the groundworks for 130 plots was well as related infrastructure and the creation of a balancing pond and open public spaces.
