The LIA is a Challenge Partner for the Department of the International Trade . Being a part of this Department means that the LIA are focused on supporting their SME’s in order to help them increase their presence in the export market. The Pavilions operated by LIA at International trade shows are a perfect way for the Association to stand by their commitment and also helps to promote SMEs and allow them to expand their export market potential.
LIA operates a range of Pavilions at trade shows around the world in order to show off the range of services that are on offer from UK companies working in the lighting industry. The Association’s Pavilions have helped to promote more than 50 different UK companies in a wide range of new markets. The LIA has also attracted funding from the Department of International Trade in order to provide additional support for those companies involved.
Companies who have been involved in the Pavilion in the past have said that they found the LIA very helpful when dealing with any enquiries. Having the LIA accreditation on the exhibition stands for the company is also an outward display of quality. Companies with a British Organisation membership appear to be well received in overseas market.
