There has been a new development started just outside of Chelmsford. The Beaulieu development is being carried out by Countryside and L&Q. The developers have revealed that they are sponsoring the local cricket club, Springfield Cricket Club by donating new kit shirts for the team to wear in the new cricket season. The Springfield team play and train at Coronation Park which is located in Chelmsford and has recently been given the Green Fal Award. The Club has received this nationally recognised accolade which is handed out to excellent parks.
As a part of the Beaulieu project sponsorships will be given to the four senior teams that are scheduled to play on Saturdays as part of the T. Rippon Mid-Essex League, a Sunday XI of the North Essex League. The new development will also be seen to support a midweek 20/20 team. These sponsorships have taken place in order to support the local community while the Beaulieu Heath development takes place. The housing development is expected to create an entirely space for the community to join together for sports and leisure. As part of Beaulieu, Countryside and L&Q will be working to create 118 acres of open space to be used by the community. The hope of the developers is that the residents of the local area will come together in order to make the most of the facilities.
Countryside are working in order to deliver a new development that will become a new and appealing district of Chelmsford. Their development of Beaulieu has been designed as a great place for people to live, work and socialise with all aspects of life planned out. The recreation and leisure facilities as part of the development will be integrated into the housing and schools with parklands and open spaces. The development will also see Countryside create their first all-through school which will encompass a primary and secondary school on just one campus.
