Rapleys works across six offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Huntington, London and Manchester.
The professional advice service has announced that is has appointed Steve Sultan as the Head of Strategic Land. Working in a national role, Steve will be advising on issues such as the strategic site identification and acquisition. Sultan will also be working with project management of sites as part of the planning and development process.
Steve has joined Rapleys after working for Avant Homes where he was the Head of Strategic Land for the Midlands and Yorkshire region. Sultan will be able to contribute a large amount of experience that will benefit him when starting his new role at Rapleys as well as being able to help the professional services business expand and progress further. Steve Sultan has a large base of knowledge for the public as well as the private sector. Sultan has previously worked for national house builders as well as housing associations and a regional Government Agency.
Steve has also worked with Neighborhood Plan Teams and community groups in order to make sure that land controlled by developers will bring value and benefits to the local community. Sultan is joining Rapleys at a point when the company is improving their development offerings which the new Head of Strategic Land will play a major role in. This is a good place to invest the strategic land sector is becoming more and more attractive to investors as the Government pushes to deliver more housing. This push to increase housing to meet the current demand sees older landholding receiving planning permission and providers looking to continue a supply of land for development.
