SES Engineering Services is a part of the Wates Group and operates across the UK offering a range of technical solutions to be used within the built environment. SES has recently undergone a restructuring, carried out by the former Managing Director Andy Wall. The business employs more than 650 people who have also been ensuring the successful implementation of the SES growth strategy in order to improve the profitability of the company. After achieving so much, Andy Wall has announced that he is moving on in order to tackle other challenges.
The Engineering Services business has therefore announced that the new Managing Director will be Jason Knights. Jason first joined the Wates Group in 2010 and has been a successful member of the M&E aspect of the Wates Group business and will be successful in his new position as Managing Director, which he has been appointed to with immediate effect.
Jason Knights will be expected to improve the growth strategy of SES Engineering Services as well as any future developments for the business. It is thought that Jason will be the first M&E specialist in the UK that has managed to achieve the BRE BIM Level 2 accreditation. This is a significant accolade for Jason as well as SES Engineering Services and the Wates Group as a whole.
Jason will also be involved in the future progression of SES’ Prism facility. Prism is the innovative project from SES that will work towards cutting down costs and the amount of labour required during development. The facility i an offsite manufacturing area that will cut down on time spent carrying out on-site production and assembly work, saving businesses money.
We wish Andy the very best of luck with the future as he moves away from SES Engineering Services and Jason Knights luck for his new position as Managing Director.
