This significant rebranding initiative represents a key turning point in the European market for personalised photo products, boasting robust revenues of over EUR 340M and a vibrant customer base of 11 million. Alongside this branding overhaul, a notable shift in leadership has taken place, with Alessandro Coppo taking the helm as CEO, succeeding Tristan Money, from the 8th of February, 2024. This change in executive leadership is a critical component of the company’s strategic agenda following its merger, focusing on enhancing integration processes, stimulating innovation, and fostering growth.
This momentous rebranding and executive transition were announced during an exuberant internal launch event, which was simultaneously streamed from Amsterdam, London, and Barcelona, uniting the company’s wide European network in a festive digital assembly. This event signified the launch of an exciting new era for Storio group, with company-wide celebrations marking the occasion.
Following an impactful nine-year tenure that saw the successful integration with Photobox in January 2022, Tristan Money handed over the reins of leadership to Alessandro Coppo.
Alessandro Coppo joins the Storio group with a comprehensive portfolio of experience, spanning over 25 years in the industry, including notable roles at Boston Consulting Group and a substantial 17-year stint at eBay. His strategic leadership at eBay, which facilitated the growth of the Classifieds Group’s revenue from $300M to over $1B, underscores his adeptness at using technology to create meaningful connections and safe, enjoyable commerce experiences. His rich experience aligns seamlessly with the strategic direction and values of the Storio group.
As the incoming CEO, Alessandro is focused on capitalizing on the strong foundation established by Tristan and the leadership team, with an ambition to transform Storio group into an iconic and beloved brand that connects individuals with their most memorable moments.
