Jonathan Kerr has been appointed as the director for the rail sector of GRAHAM. Jonathan has been working at the company for the past 15 years, starting his career at the family owned company as a site engineer before steadily moving his way up the ranks.
GRAHAM is a company that works with clients in a range of different industries in order to deliver a variety of value added services. The company has recently announced this appointment of Jonathan Kerr, who will be an asset to the company in his new position as director.
Jonathan began his career in the rail industry as a site engineer and has been promoted by GRAHAM in the past to project manager and then again to contract manager. The elevation of Jonathan through the company means that he will have an in depth knowledge and experience of the different roles in the rail sector of GRAHAM, which will help him in his new role as director.
Currently, Jonathan is overseeing a range of high-profile projects. These projects includes a contract given to the company by Warwickshire County Council to develop Kenilworth Railway Station as well as a project at Westdown Road Bridge which is being carried out on behalf of Network Rail.
In the past the new director has worked on numerous other complex projects in the rail, highways and marine sectors. In his new position, Jonathan will be required to communicate with key stakeholders on projects that are being carried out by GRAHAM, and will also need to work to provide leadership and direction to those also working in the rail sector of the company. It is hoped that Jonathan will also be able to improve GRAHAM’S position in the rail industry as well as the company’s offerings to their clients during his time as director.
