The number of tourists to South Korea has decreased from 1,252,080 in February 2017 to 1,233,640 in the March. It is thought that the reduction in the number of visitors to the destination is connected to the quest marketing campaigns for the country as opposed to the opportunities offered by the destination.
It is thought that the Korean tourism offices that are located in the UK and the USA are able to offer brochures and maps for the country and the opportunities available in South Korea, but do not have the resources to offer much else. People who are interested in visiting the country in order to explore the people, hotels, attractions, shopping opportunities, museums and art galleries in South Korea are urged to visit websites and look closer into the country and what is on offer there.
