Emaar Properties has revealed a stunning new lighting system for the Burj Khalifa, combining revolutionary RGBW technology with its iconic architecture. The revamped façade will debut on 1 December 2024, during Eid Al Etihad celebrations, paving the way for the building’s 15th anniversary on 4 January 2025.
The project introduces an unprecedented range of lighting effects, creating a mesmerising experience for visitors while cementing Dubai’s reputation for design excellence and technological innovation.
The system underwent six months of thorough mock-up testing to guarantee seamless integration. Featuring addressable, colour-changing fixtures, the RGBW system replaces static lights to produce intricate displays that align with diverse occasions and celebrations, all while preserving the building’s renowned architectural beauty.
