Located in Hall 4 (Stand 4 L120) and Hall 7 (Stand 7 K259), the Pavilion will offer a wide selection of traditional and modern Korean foods, from fermented sauces and Kimchi to noodles, ready meals, beverages, Ginseng, and vegan products, reflecting the global trend towards sustainable, plant-based eating.
Korean Food’s Growing Influence in Europe
Korean cuisine has been gaining ground in Europe, known for its combination of health benefits and distinctive flavours. Major retailers like Carrefour and Monoprix have introduced Korean products to their shelves, and SIAL Paris offers an opportunity to explore this growing trend. Visitors can meet producers, sample foods, and create important business connections.
The rise of plant-based diets in Europe has further fuelled the popularity of Korean food. Beyond Kimchi, its versatility is being embraced by chefs, expanding the appeal of Korean cuisine.
Showcasing the Diversity of Korean Cuisine
Ms. Nam Sanghui, Director of aT Center Paris, said: “We are excited to reflect the true diversity of Korean products in SIAL Paris 2024. Our goal is to engage with those searching for innovative, health-conscious food options, and the Pavilion is the perfect place to discover the latest trends in Korean cuisine.”
