Ashberry Homes has acquired approximately four acres of land on Mosley Common Road in Mosley for a new residential development. Launching in April, the new development will be known as The Depot, named after the old bus station that was previously on the land.
Planning permission has been granted, with the housebuilder providing 71 new build homes, including a mix of two, three and four bedroom properties. Construction has started on site, which is progressing well and the housebuilder plans to open the show homes in the summer.
“Demand for houses in this area of Greater Manchester is particularly high, with Worsley close by and both Manchester city centre and Wigan town centre just 30 minutes’ drive away. We anticipate a huge level of enquiries when we launch at the weekend and urge all interested homebuyers to get in touch,” said Hollie Reynolds, Sales Director at Ashberry Homes.
Ashberry Homes has picked experienced sales advisor Cath Keymer for The Depot. Having worked in the sector for many years, she adds: “I’m excited to be based at The Depot; a superb new development in Manchester. And I am looking forward to selling the stunning properties under construction by Ashberry to local homebuyers, as well as opening the showhomes in the coming months.”
In addition to the new development, Ashberry Homes has made a significant financial contribution of £393,770 to the locality, including a £12,500 highways contribution and travel plan, £39,547 towards public open space, £73,698 for a play area and £268,025 towards education.
