Construction work is coming to an end at two housing developments in Worcestershire, completing the delivery of more than 500 homes by Bellway in the county. The sale and completion of the final homes at sites in Malvern and Evesham will see the developer’s housebuilding programme in the county move into Bromsgrove, where plans are in the pipeline for a new 370-home development in the near future.
All homes have been sold at The Rosehips – a 110-home development in Malvern – and at Merry Brook Park, off Pershore Road in Evesham, where 28 homes are being delivered by the housebuilder.
Bellway has already finished work at the neighbouring Orchard Place development in Evesham where 401 new homes have been built.
Ben Smith, Managing Director of Bellway South Midlands, said: “There has been a consistently high level of interest in the new homes at The Rosehips and at Merry Brook Park, reflecting the need for new housing in Worcestershire.
“As a division, Bellway South Midlands is continuing its commitment to Worcestershire with plans in place for a new development of up to 370 homes in Bromsgrove, following the successes at our previous schemes in the county.
“Even before we launched The Rosehips in 2019, we had a lot of enquiries from a range of buyers, especially families, and the properties at Merry Brook Park were also in great demand from the start.
“The homes at both developments are from Bellway’s Artisan Collection, which was created using decades of customer feedback to combine the latest construction techniques with traditional craftmanship. This flagship range of homes is incredibly popular with homebuyers as it offers them top-quality homes.
“We’ve also provided a mix of affordable housing at both developments available for local people through rent or shared ownership.
“We are proud that we have not only helped meet the demand for new homes in Worcestershire but that we have created new and vibrant communities. All told in recent years we have delivered more than 500 homes in this beautiful county.
“Construction work will be finishing in Malvern and Evesham but we are working on plans to provide more new homes in Worcestershire in the near future.”
