A new housing development in Harrietsham, Bellway’s Bluebell Walk development, is due to be fully occupied by its new residents within the next few months, with the final plot on site now reserved.
Construction work is drawing to a close at Bellway’s Bluebell Walk development, off Ashford Road, where all the homes have now been sold.
Bellway has delivered 38 private and 20 affordable homes at the development, which has transformed the former Mayfield Nursery brownfield site into a new neighbourhood in the village.
Building work, which began on site in 2019, is scheduled to be finished in the summer.
Mark Harrop, Sales Director at Bellway Kent, said: “Three-quarters of the buyers at Bluebell Walk have now moved in, with the remaining buyers set to complete in the coming months when construction at the development comes to an end.
“Bluebell Walk has been a popular development with buyers and has delivered a range of much-needed new homes in Harrietsham as well as public open space.
“Throughout the duration of the project, we have worked with residents in the area and contributed to the local community by donating Christmas hampers to Harrietsham Pre-School and Harrietsham Church of England Primary School to help their fundraising.
“For buyers who missed out at Bluebell Walk, there are still new homes available at our other developments in Kent, including Bicknor Wood in Otham and Crown Fields in Chatham.”
Bicknor Wood, off Gore Court Road, is a mix of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, and prices start at £304,995.
Crown Fields, off Street End Road, is a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses, with prices starting at £172,995.
