There are now just four homes available to buy at a housing development in Hurworth-on-Tees, where construction work is set to be completed next spring. Bellway is building 95 new homes at Hurworth Gardens, off Roundhill Road in the village. The remaining properties for sale are detached four-bedroom houses with gardens and garages.
“Hurworth Gardens has been an extremely popular development since its launch. The superb range of high-quality homes in a picturesque village location just a few miles from Darlington town centre has proved to be a winning combination,” said Hayley Teasdale, Sales Manager for Bellway Durham.
“The development benefits from excellent transport links as it is less than three miles to Darlington railway station on the East Coast Main Line and just minutes from the A66, making it ideal for commuters. The spacious nature of the three, four and five-bedroom detached houses has also attracted lots of families to live at the development.”
As part of the planning agreement for Hurworth Gardens, Bellway is contributing £1.26 million to local services – including £305,000 for Hurworth Primary School and £273,000 for an evening bus service to Darlington.
Hayley added: “As more and more new residents move in, we can start to see a vibrant new community starting to take shape at Hurworth Gardens. We are looking forward to welcoming more buyers into their homes over the coming months and to completing work on this brand-new neighbourhood.
“Although there are still a number of four-bedroom houses available, I would advise any prospective buyer looking to purchase a spacious family home in a beautiful village setting to get in contact with our sales team as soon as they can.”
There’s currently a selection of detached four-bedroom houses available at Hurworth Gardens, with prices starting at £313,995.
