The final homes are set to go on sale at Bellway’s Rookery Park development in North Bersted. Bellway Wessex will be releasing the last phase of 11 properties at the site onto the market this spring.
The housebuilder is delivering a total of 50 homes as part of the development at the 4.8-acre site, near the Jubilee Recreation Ground off New Barn Lane in Bersted. Just over half of the 35 houses for private sale have now been purchased, while 15 homes are being provided as affordable housing for rent or shared ownership.
Kim Caldwell, Sales Director for Bellway Wessex, said: “Rookery Park has proven to be a very popular development with homebuyers in this area, which is reflected in the very strong demand we have seen here since the site was launched in September last year.
“A total of 18 homes have already been sold, which equates to three-quarters of the properties we have released onto the market so far. With only six of these homes yet to be reserved, we are now looking forward to making this final selection of houses available to buyers.
“This development is set in a highly desirable and sought-after village location just two-and-a-half miles from Bognor Regis Beach and has good road links. The site is located just off the A259, which has made it a popular choice for people who commute to Chichester.
“The mix of two, three and four-bedroom properties has attracted buyers with a range of needs and budgets. It has proved particularly appealing to families who have been drawn by the wide choice of highly rated schools nearby, including Bartons School which is less than half a mile away.
“The last phase at Rookery Park will feature a variety of three and four-bedroom houses, including the three-bedroom semi-detached Chandler showhome which was opened to visitors last autumn. Given the level of demand we have experienced so far, I would encourage anyone who may wish to buy one of the final homes at this popular development to get in touch with our sales team at the earliest opportunity.”
Buyers have now moved into five completed properties at the development, where construction work is due to end in September.
All the homes at Rookery Park are part of Bellway’s Artisan Collection, a flagship range of house types that combine traditional artisan techniques with the latest modern construction methods.
The six homes currently available at Rookery Park include a mix of three and four-bedroom houses priced from £369,995.
