A second showhome has opened at a new housing development in Melton Mowbray to give visitors an insight into the homes now available. Bellway is building 217 new homes at Roman Gate, off Leicester Road, and unveiled the two-bedroom Cooper showhome on Saturday 6 November. A four-bedroom Philosopher showhome opened when the first properties were released for sale earlier this year.
The houses for sale at Roman Gate are all from the housebuilder’s flagship Artisan Collection, which combines traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail with contemporary construction techniques and was developed over two years after decades of customer input.
“The showhomes from our Artisan Collection are really impressing visitors to Roman Gate, both in terms of their spacious layouts and their quality finish. Having both a two-bedroom and a four-bedroom design to view reflects our ambition to meet the needs of a wide range of buyers in Melton Mowbray by offering a varied mix of house sizes and designs,” said Kenny Lattimore, Sales Manager for Bellway East Midlands.
“The Cooper is an ideal home for those looking to take their first step on the property ladder and has already been popular with prospective first-time buyers. There’s a large open-plan living/dining room with French doors to the garden, a separate kitchen and a guest cloakroom downstairs, with two double bedrooms – one with an en-suite shower room – and a family bathroom upstairs. We’ve also factored in plenty of storage and space to work from home to suit today’s changing lifestyles.”
Alongside the new homes at Roman Gate, Bellway is also providing public open space and a children’s play area.
The development is part of a wider scheme of 520 new homes in Melton Mowbray, which is being delivered through a consortium of housing developers. There’s currently a range of three and four-bedroom houses available to reserve at Roman Gate, with prices starting from £275,000.
