A FIRM of North East modular wiring experts is helping power up one of the Premier League’s oldest clubs, as it moves into its new state of the art stadium.
County Durham-based Apex Wiring Solutions won the contract to manufacture and supply Everton Football Club’s £555m stadium development, for which the company has provided a game changing full modular wiring fit out.
Situated on Bramley-Moore Dock, the new 52,888-capacity stadium began construction in July 2021 and will complete later this year, with Everton moving in at the start of their 2025-2026 season.
A significant milestone for Apex, the company stood out as the ideal partner for this project, leveraging its expertise and leading-edge manufacturing capabilities helping create an outstanding modern sporting arena, in collaboration with Crown House Technologies.
Everton Football Club has been a fixture in the Premiership since it was established in 1888, and next season will see them leave their historic Goodison Park home after almost 134 years.
Apex designed, manufactured, and supplied the venue’s electrical systems, providing Fully modular small power and lighting systems, maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence and innovation.

Apex has delivered over 75km of cabling and 20,000 components to the newest ground in the Premier League, since being appointed in in December 2022 by CHT with everything designed and manufactured at Apex Wiring Solution’s Durham City HQ.
The state-of-the-art development has been meticulously designed to preserve and restore the heritage assets, including reclaimed railway lines and a Grade II listed dock wall and hydraulics tower, while still embracing the latest trends and innovation.
