The Aylett’s Green Showhome of Support has seen the major homebuilder once again work with small retailers and creators in and around Essex – giving local independents a platform to showcase their products, produce, and designs to residents and potential homebuyers in the area.
This is Cala Homes’s second showhome to launch at the development, highlighting a further 10 retailers from the local area.

All featured local businesses have been signposted throughout the showhome and are promoted on the housebuilder’s website, as the developer looks to showcase the local artisans and retailers.
Jason Colmer, Sales & Marketing Director for Cala Homes North Home Counties, said: “We’re delighted to see our Showhome of Support initiative return to Kelvedon, to continue supporting local businesses in Essex.
“Essex is full of brilliant independent retailers, who were more than happy to be featured in our new Aylett’s Green showhome.
“In the current economic climate, it can be tough for small businesses so it’s great that we can showcase the high-quality suppliers that neighbours our growing development. With the help of these businesses, we can give Aylett’s Green showhome a unique identity, that reflects the area’s amazing talent.”
In the heart of Kelvedon is where you’ll discover Aylett’s Green, a collection of 1- & 2-bedroom apartments for sale in Essex and 2 to 5 bedrooms detached, semi-detached, and terraced houses for sale in Essex to suit everyone’s preference.
Kelvedon is a highly sought-after location due to its excellent transport links. Trains will get you into London Liverpool Street in around 50 minutes with trains running every 29 minutes and allowing you to make the most of city life while still enjoying the Essex countryside.
Cala’s exclusive collection of homes offers options to suit first-time buyers, growing families, or downsizers, all finished to a high standard with a modern specification throughout.
