The hosts of the London Home Show, the UK’s largest dedicated exhibition for first time buyers, have announced their first-ever event outside the capital – the Bristol Home Show. Taking place on Saturday 29th June, the free-to-attend event will be a one-stop shop for anyone looking to step onto the property ladder in Bristol and the South West.
The Bristol Home Show is being hosted by the country’s leading online portal for first time buyer homes, Share to Buy. Attendees will have access to a wealth of in-depth information about Shared Ownership, an alternative home-buying scheme where buyers can purchase a share of a property, paying a mortgage on the portion they own and a subsidised rent on the remainder. Budding buyers will also be able to find out about homes available through Shared Ownership, Older Persons Shared Ownership and private sale across Bristol and surrounding areas. Exhibitors on the day will include show sponsors Abri Homes, Bromford, Guinness Homes and Sovereign Network Group.
In addition to speaking to some of the region’s biggest names in the property industry face-to-face, guests will also be able to join a series of Q&As and seminar sessions running throughout the day, covering everything from eligibility criteria to credit scores. Independent mortgage advisors and conveyancing solicitors will also be on hand to offer financial and legal advice to budding home-buyers.
Jade Turnstill, Head of Brand & Content for Share to Buy comments: “We are incredibly excited to be taking our hugely successful Home Show on the road for the first time. The London Home Show is the country’s no.1 event for first time buyers and has helped over 70,000 people on their journey to homeownership – we hope that our new Home Show events will have a similar impact in the South West and other areas of the country.
“The Bristol Home Show has been created with first time buyers in mind and we want to help empower those looking for a home in the South West to navigate their way through a very challenging home-buying market. Our first exhibition outside of the capital marks a very exciting time for Share to Buy, and we hope to take our events to a number of other locations across the country in the coming months.”
The Bristol Home Show will take place at the Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel between 10.30am and 4pm. The show is free to attend, but guests will need to register for a ticket. For more information, visit: bristolhomeshow.eventbrite.com
