Acis Student Housing, the student residential and facilities management company started by Martin Corbett and Acis Group in May, has announced the appointment of three new directors.
Graham Rogers, Kate Forester and James Tucknott, all previously part of Derwent FM’s senior management team have joined Acis Student Housing as both directors and shareholders in the new business.
Rogers joins as operations director. He will have overall responsibility for the management of university partnerships; and will manage Acis Student Housing’s FM operations.
Forester takes up the role of sales and marketing director. She has spent over 10 years in sales management with Greystar, Virgin Holidays and the Unite Group, and will manage all direct-let and nominated student schemes nationwide.
And, Tucknott is the company’s finance director. He will be responsible for the financial control and reporting to investors, as well as management of the company’s finances.
Martin Corbett, managing director, Acis Student Housing, said:
“It’s great to have my former senior management team back together. Their considerable experience will enable us provide an expert service to investors and universities as we drive the business forward.
“These are exciting times. We have ambitious growth plans with over 5,000 nominated/leased and direct-let opportunities already secured and we will be making further staff appointments in the coming months.”
Acis Group owns 1,150 student accommodation beds in Nottingham and Sheffield.
