Airsorted, an Edinburgh based company that claims to be the world’s largest independent Airbnb management company, will open in Fountain Street, Manchester. The new office will create up to 100 jobs, as well as promising hassle free property management to homeowners, landlords and investors in the region.
The Manchester team will be responsible for the management of properties listed on Airbnb in the city, taking the hassle away from busy professionals and landlords looking to make money from their properties. As well as setting up a new management team in the city, Airsorted is committed to working with local people and aims to contract 100 independent cleaners in Manchester within the next 18 months.
“Airsorted is the ideal solution for a number of different people looking for trusted and reliable Airbnb management in Manchester,” said Nick Hodgson, regional cities director for the UK and Ireland and Airsorted.
“It could be that you’re away for a few months with work or on a gap year and want someone you trust to look after your property while you’re away and generate some extra income. Alternatively, you could have a flat in the city that you use during the week that sits empty during the weekend but don’t want the hassle of managing your own listing,” he added.
The office opening in Manchester comes after the company completed a Series A funding round worth £7 million. The money is now being used to help Airsorted achieve its ambitious growth plans to be in 38 new cities across the world by 2019.
“We’re a very fast-moving company with ambitious plans for the future, which is why we’ve chosen to expand by opening a new office in Manchester, one of the UK’s most vibrant cities,” said Nick Hodgson. “We’re thrilled to be bringing our service to a new range of clients and help more and more people to make money from their homes.”
