Bespoke hospitality services business Bennett Hay has appointed existing colleague Claire Huish MCIPD in the newly created role of Colleague Service Manager.
Huish’s new role involves doing strategic work around employee wellbeing and engagement and, ultimately, helping to take care of the Bennett Hay family.
Huish said: “The people who make up the team are our most valuable resource. As a company we want to do whatever we can to make a positive difference to our people’s happiness and wellbeing. We want to keep them in tiptop condition so they can perform to best of their ability. I’m delighted to be given the opportunity in my new role to make a significant contribution to this.”
Huish began her career with Intel Corporation in logistics before moving into HR. She then worked with Robin Hay, owner director of Bennett Hay, at Mitie Catering before being headhunted to deliver consulting work to Bennett Hay. Huish works part-time and spends the rest of her time raising her two young children.
In April 2015, Bennett Hay was named as one of the best places to work in hospitality by the Caterer. Bennett Hay’s colleague turnover rate speaks for itself at just five per cent, which is exceptional for the hospitality industry.
