Cameron House, on the banks of Loch Lomond has completed the final phase of works that made up a 12-month project to refurbish the hotel. The five-star resort consists of a baronial mansion house which serves as the hotel, four restaurants, an 18-hole Championship Golf Course award winning spa featuring a rooftop infinity pool and a range of other outdoor activities to deliver the perfect indulgent retreat.
The refurbishment work has cost £4 million and involved all 136 bedrooms at the hotel; This includes the 26 suites available at the resort. The food and beverage options have also been refreshed, as has the other public spaces in the hotel. The five-star resort features the opportunity for Michelin starred dining with Martin Wishart on Loch Lomond.
The resort has been refurbished in order to create more modern spaces while keeping the relaxing and inviting feel that has made this resort so popular. The resort advertises itself as perfect for weddings, in a memorable setting, hidden and exclusive. The luxurious renovation work has been carried out by Interior designers Greyline Design who have added a number of decadent yet still distinctly Scottish finishes throughout. Osborne & Little supplied a range of luxury fabrics used across the refurbishment. Bespoke carpets delivered by Gravity Flooring and upholstery delivered by Zoffany to create a contemporary relaxing hotel. The refurbishment works carried out in the bedrooms was the final stage of work that has been carried out throughout the resort over the course of the past year.
As part of the multi-million-pound refurbishment, the Great Scots Bar has been added, with the amazing feature of a panoramic open air space delivering breathtaking views of Loch Lomond and the surrounding areas. The work to refurbish the property has given the resort a new lease of life and will ensure that the location is popular for luxury getaways and events for many years to come.
