eMoov Research Finds For Valentine
The popular online estate agency known as eMoov are keeping in with the Valentine groove by releasing a list of details and data that indicate where loving couples in England are most likely to settle in this shoddy year of 2017. With the steeping rise of house prices, young couples are considering the idea of buying a home more unlikely than ever and “Generation Rent” are two words frequently referred to youngsters during these harsh economic times simply unable to find an affordable place to settle into. In order to do this, the property estate agency looked at a number of locations outside the city capital of London (where the average price of a home there is currently staked at £790, 439) and also investigated the birth rates in order to find which areas were the best place to start a family.
Of course whilst it is questionable whether that is indeed the thing on the mind of any generation of couples, one supposes that the survey is a well-intentioned attempt to try and show where the price of a home might be affordable in a country where a tiny shed in London could now be worth up to a million pounds at the rate the house market in soaring over there. The average house price calculated to be at £234,278, the survey went through a series of different data in order to try and find which areas of the country would be best for house-owning couples to settle into so that they could start a family.
Areas in the West Midlands were shown to be the most affordable, with the areas of Greater Manchester having an average house price sometimes as low as £152,747. The area was also the third highest in terms of births having taken place there, with a total 18,446 registered births in the Greater Manchester locale.
