Scottish housing specialist Hebridean Housing Partnership (HHP) has appointed Donald MacLeod as the new director of finance & corporate services, with HHP chairman Ian MacMillan delighted to be able to welcome the new arrival into the Executive Team at the company.
Donald MacLeod fought off competition from a number of strong candidates to land his new role, and he was selected by HHP’s Board supported by Employers in Voluntary Housing (EVH) in September 2016, following a recruitment exercise.
Mr MacLeod is relishing the opportunity to work at HHP in such an integral capacity, and he has commented, “I am looking forward to working for HHP as Director of Finance & Corporate Resources and I would like to thank the Directors and the Board for this opportunity.”
The new director of finance & corporate services comes with plenty of experience, with his most recent role being with Lenovo Technologies (UK) Ltd in Glasgow where he worked as the senior finance and planning manager, so he is certainly well-equipped to take on the new role.
The previous occupant of the position was Dena MacLeod, who went on to become the chief executive of the company, and she has commented, “Donald is a welcome addition to our Executive Team and we look forward to working with him to ensure HHP remains financially sound to enable us to deliver an excellent housing service to our customers throughout the Outer Hebrides.”
Mr MacLeod is also a qualified Certified Accountant, and the team at HHP seem to be very upbeat about the appointment as the new arrival has the potential to enjoy a long and successful career in his new position.
So this appointment has provided a platform for an exciting future at Hebridean Housing Partnership, and we will have to keep an eye on how he develops the business moving forward.
