Independents by Sodexo has been awarded a three-year contract to deliver catering and hospitality services at Brentwood School, Essex, one of the UK’s leading independent schools.
This is the first time that Brentwood School has outsourced its catering service, which will see Independents catering for over 1,500 day and boarding pupils between the ages of 3 and 18, as well as providing catering and hospitality for school events.
The contract which commenced on 1 July is worth £1.2 million per annum and has an option for a further two-year extension.
Over the summer holiday Independents by Sodexo will update the current kitchen and dining room facilities ready for the new academic year. The new catering service from Sodexo will provide pupils and staff with a wide range of dishes with an emphasis on fresh, nutritious and seasonal, using its ‘fresh food from scratch’ concept.
