Macro has announced the appointment of Steve Wilson as its new operations director, who will lead the company’s international accounts.
Wilson who replaces Adrian Connor after four years service at Macro, will manage, and be responsible for, all of Macro’s accounts across the UK, Ireland, Europe and Asia – a key focus for the business.
Wilson joins Macro from Mitie where he was director of financial services managing a number of key clients including Lloyds, TSB, Santander and Co-operative bank with responsibility for multi-disciplinary delivery services across both Retail and Corporate estates.
He brings over 20 years of experience in strategic, operational and customer focused delivery of property and FM services.
Wilson has spent the last 10 years working across the Financial Services sector, notably with Barclays where he held the positions of both director of retail FM services and director of corporate services across the UK.
Prior to moving into the Financial Services sector he spent over 10 years performing a number of UK roles within ASDA Walmart ranging from FM maintenance, project management and customer relationship management. He started his career within the construction industry.
