Sunderland based contract cleaning and facilities management business Maxim Facilities Management Ltd has continued with its national expansion plans following the acquisition of CLT Services in Leeds.
Since its inception in 2010, Maxim FM has grown rapidly and has now made three strategic acquisitions in the last two years.
In 2014, the firm acquired the contract cleaning division of local contractor Newlife Cleaning Systems (North) Ltd and also expanded into Scotland with the acquisition of Glasgow based Ross Cleaning Services.
Managing director Graham Conway said the acquisition of CLT forms a key part of the company’s national expansion strategy, he commented:
“CLT Services has been established as a family business for over 25 years, and the purchase significantly strengthens our base in the Leeds area. In addition to the acquisition, we are also enjoying organic growth in and around this key conurbation and are confident this will continue, particularly given the strength of the operational team we have acquired from CLT.
“We are continuing our strategy of expansion through a careful mix of acquisition and organic sales. This has worked well for us in Scotland and our attention is now focused on the rest of the UK.”
Maxim FM provides services ranging from large scale contract cleaning of commercial premises through to grounds maintenance, painting and decorating and deep clean services for laboratories, hospitals and technical areas.
