Portico takes up residency at South Bank Tower
Reception management and guest services provider, Portico, has won a contract to provide 24 hour concierge and residential lifestyle services at South Bank Tower in London.
The contract which has the potential to run for five years, and valued at over £4 million in total turnover, will commence in September 2015, ahead of the first residents arrival in October.
Portico will employ 26 staff to deliver a wide range of resident’s services to the private residents at the 191 luxury apartments, providing day-to-day facilities and lifestyle management.
As part of the deal, Portico has also announced the development of a bespoke lifestyle concierge portal for tablets and smartphones to be integrated with the property management system to assist the residents.
South Bank Tower is a mixed-use building developed by both CIT, an independent private equity real estate business; and Jadwa, an award-winning investment bank based in Saudi Arabia.
The developers are transforming an existing tower into 193 luxury apartments and 220,000sq ft of office space and 36,000sq ft of retail space.
The development will also offer a range of facilities including new outdoor spaces and one of London’s largest roof gardens.
Simon Pratt, managing director at Portico said:
“We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen and trusted by CIT developments to be the provider of 24 hour residential lifestyle concierge services at Southbank Tower. The development is simply stunning. We are very much looking forward to taking care of the residents, becoming their trusted house staff and servicing all their lifestyle requirements.”
