The Dove Quarter Development Is Open
The Dove Quarter development has a collection of 19 properties out for sale, starting at £450,000 for a one bedroom apartment. The apartments are sold by Site Sales Property Group on behalf of Islington Council in the borough of Islington, North London.
The luxurious collection contains four one and two bedroom apartments and 15 two and three bedroom houses, with prices starting at £775,000. They offer a contemporary design and stylishly finished interiors. The living areas are warm and large windows flood the natural light into the kitchens. The properties are surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds, with plans to develop extensive communal facilities and newly designed public spaces onsite.
Its location in the Dove Quarter is a step into history and culture. George Orwell and Evelyn Waugh, two English literary giants of the 20th century, used to live in this part of Islington. It also became the home of Thomas Cromwell after being promoted to chief minister by Henry VIII.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Islington Council to be launching this brand new development in North London. The Dove Quarter development will further add to the burgeoning reputation of Islington as an up-and-coming area of London to live. We’ve received a lot of interest so far and I’m sure these meticulously designed properties will prove popular with buyers,” said Eloise Robbins, Director at Site Sales Property Group.
Dove Quarter is just a part of the programme designed by the Islington Council to transform the Dover Court estate in North London, by creating new public realm and providing 70 high quality homes for social rent and private sale, 51 of which will be for council rent. The rest of the homes will be built on nine sites at the estate, including former garages and car parking, with a new purpose built development planned for residents aged over 55.
