A second location in Elephant and Castle has been announced by the Private rental company Get Living. The business is known for being the leading private rental operator in the UK, winning Private Landlord of the Year at the 2016 and 2015 RESI Awards. Get Living has also claimed he Customer Service Award at the 2017 Rent Awards.
This newly announced location in Elephant and Castle offers 374 new homes that have all been finished to a high quality. The apartments on offer vary in size, with options for one, two and three bedrooms. Available to move in to from September, the apartments have all been finished to one of three levels which are Signature, Design and Premium. The homes are spread across three buildings on the 1.25-acre site. The buildings have been named after castles in the UK as a nod to the name of the area.
To offer security and flexibility, Get Living rent their properties out in a unique and innovative way. The landlords do not require a security deposit, nor do they charge fees. The tenants are also able opt for tenancies that are longer than three years and have a resident-only break clause. Other perks of this development is the 20mbps broadband, 24/7 access to self-service parcel delivery lockers and Get Living management on site. Their innovative renting approach is already in place at the former London 2012 Athletes Village, East Village.
The homes created as part of the development are available from £410 a week and, because the site is located in Zone one, the development benefits from great transport links. Nearby there are two tube lines, National Rail train services, a bus hub and a network of cycle routes.
In order to support the local community, Get Living has commissioned three pieces of artwork from three local artists to be displayed in the lobbies of the three buildings on the site. This move also reflects the artistic culture that has developed in Elephant and Castle
