Morgan Sindall PLC Starts Work On £8 Million Health Centre In Market Harborough
Construction and infrastructure company Morgan Sindall plc has today (30th November 2015) begun work on the new health facilities at the St Luke’s site in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
Morgan Sindall was appointed to build the £8 million new health facility by NHS Property Services via the East Midlands Property Alliance (empa) framework.
St Luke’s will be a modern and technically advanced health facility set in a landscaped 1.78 hectares site located in a prominent position in Market Harborough.
On completion, a wide range of healthcare services are to be provided that currently operate across a number of NHS sites in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The facilities will provide a mixture of outpatient services including;
- Primary Care including General Practice
- Outpatient services and diagnostics including an x-ray department
- Mental health services
- Physiotherapy and occupational therapy
There will also be some non-clinical, administrative services on site.

We are looking forward to seeing this brand new, state-of-the-art health facility come to fruition where local people will be able to access a wide range of high quality health services in a safe, fit-for purpose environment.”

This site will place St. Luke’s in an ideal position to serve Market Harborough and the surrounding area.
