Wates Construction Ltd has completed two luxury care home developments on behalf of Signature Senior Lifestyle. The two Care Home developments are located in Berkshire and Surrey, creating a combined 211 new senior living places. Wates Construction is well known as the largest privately owned companies to offer construction, property and development services. The Wates Construction Southern Home Counties division carried out the work in Surrey and Berkshire for Signature. The different developments demonstrate the construction capabilities of Wates as well as the differing facilities on offer by Signature: an entirely new suburb development, or a new build in the busy Surrey town centre.
In Berkshire, Wates developed the Signature Sunninghill Care Home, Ascot Grange. The new development offers 96 private apartments as well as accommodation for 23 who require specialist dementia care. The private apartments available at Ascot Grange are a combination of studio and one bedroomed suites.
The Signature Camberley Care Home, Pembroke House in Surrey is a new style of care home delivered by Wates. Pembroke House is located near to the town centre, a location that has not previously been chosen by Signature Senior Lifestyle before. In order to create the four storey care home, a five-storey office building needed to be demolished. Now that Wates have successfully delivered the project, the Care home offers 92 bedrooms to accommodate residents and also features secret gardens built into the upper levels of the building. Both of the developments offer a range of communal facilities in order to allow the residents to live independently. These facilities include a therapy room, library, cinema room and a hair salon. The two high quality developments will allow the residents an opportunity to live as part of a newly formed community as well as making the most of the comfort offered by the accommodation. The amenities featured in the developments will also work to deliver an improved quality of life for the residents.
