Linden Homes has entered the final stages of a development which is generating a major investment in Bricket Wood.
The company is providing almost £1.68 million in funding for local services and building 129 new homes in a joint venture development with Wates Developments.
This is as part of the planning agreement for the Hanstead Park location, off Smug Oak Lane. The money will be spent on education, youth facilities, a library service, a six-day-a-week bus serving the site for five years, highway works, restoring a running track and updating equipment in a children’s play area.
The five-bedroom Fletcher Platinum show home has launched at the development this month, giving potential buyers the chance to walk around the detached property.
Hanstead Park is on the site of the former HSBC management training college near St Albans and features 30 acres of open green space and lakeside views.
Jason Colmer, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes, said: “The investment Linden Homes is putting into local services at Hanstead Park will see improvements into many aspects of Bricket Wood for years to come.
“The launch of the show home was a great success and visitors enjoyed looking around the show home and imagining how the property could work for their lifestyle.”
Natalie Flint, residential investment director for Wates Developments, said: “The surrounding areas at Hanstead Park are just as impressive as the development itself. This location offers parkland and lakes, with the Fletcher Platinum enjoying waterside views and green open space on the front doorstep.
“It is a highly desirable rural setting yet there is easy access to London, the M25 and the M1.”
Hanstead Park features a collection of two-bedroom apartments and three, four and five-bedroom houses. There are only three homes remaining for sale at this location, one five-bedroom detached Fletcher Platinum and two of the five-bedroom Fletcher Executive townhouses.
Linden Homes is part of Vistry Group, which also includes Bovis Homes and Countryside Homes.
Prices for five-bedroom homes at Hanstead Park currently start from £1,214,995. To find out more about the location, visit lindenhomes.co.uk.
