SGB has announced more details about a new deal that has been made between themselves and the UK property development company, Countryside. SBG is a part of Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services, and was first established through the merging of Harsco Infrastructure and Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services. The company is a single-source provider of specialist industrial and construction services, working to supply the worldwide energy and infrastructure sectors.
The new deal with Countryside is expected to last for four years, and SGB will be used as the sole scaffolding provider for the property development company’s North West division. It is thought that this new deal has a contract value of more than £13 million.
The negotiations for this agreement were led by the Business Development Manager for SGB, Jason Milner. Jason has said that the company is incredibly proud to have agreed this deal, which will help to increase the number of live sites that SGB is operating on. At the moment, SGB has 23 live sites in progress with more planned. This new agreement will be a vital part of the company’s growth strategy that will take place over the course of the next four years.
This new deal has been attributed to the hard work and commitment that has been shown by the scaffolding and infrastructure services company in Manchester and the North West. Specific praise for SGB work has been given to the Operations Manager John Woodcock, who with the support of his teams has helped to deliver some 3,400 units of scaffolding over the course of the last five years to meet the challenging build programs that come with operating in such a fast paced environment.
Going forward, SGB will be working with Countryside in order to extend the contract model to other areas of the UK. The company has already secured contracts that cover two new sites that are being developed by the Midland’s office of Countryside, and it is thought that more contracts will follow.
